The department is doing exemplary work in limb salvage and treatment of varicose veins. Limb bypass
surgeries are done in leg arteries to avoid amputation and to make the ulcers heal. The department
provides a one stop vein clinic for all venous disorders, commonly varicose veins. DVT clinic provides
strategies for prevention and management of deep vein thrombosis. Complete foot care is given for
treatment and rehabilitation of diabetic foot.

1. Limb salvage procedures

•    All limb bypass surgeries including microvascular surgery, for limb salvage.
•    All endovascular therapies ( Angioplasty and Stenting) for peripheral arteries

2. Aneurysm surgeries - Surgery for both aortic and peripheral aneurysms
3. Carotid surgeries - Carotid endarterectomy for prevention of stroke
4. Vascular trauma – vascular repair including microvascular surgery for all vascular injuries

•    State of the art 1470 laser for endovenous treatment of varicose veins
•    Ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy for treatment of varicose veins
•    DVT clinic

6. Diabetic foot surgery – bypass surgery to foot arteries, podiatry care and rehabilitation for diabetic foot
