The PMR department in this hospital is one of the oldest and well equipped departments in the Northern region of Kerala. The department is headed by an experienced physiatrist who has put in long years of service in various medical colleges of Kerala and abroad. We have the most modern and state of the art equipments for various treatment modalities like SWD, IFT, stimulators ,UST , wax therapy etc. We have well qualified and well experienced staff capable of treating patients with any complex problem.

•Hemiplegia, Paraplegia, Parkisons disease etc
•Birth injury like Erb’s palsy
•Post polio paralysis LBA-due to various causes like IVDP, neck pain, shoulder pain  and Stiffness etc.
•CP, congenital deformities in children etc.
•Chronic respiratory problems
•Prosthetic and orthotic appliances for amputees, calipers, belts, corsets for scoliosis etc.
•Neuromuscular paralysis due to MND, facial palsy, post operative nerve-   weakness and other neurological disorders,
•Stress incontinence, weak abdominal muscles following delivery etc.
•Exercise for obesity.
